When Katie reached out to me about her vision for a February wedding at the Mount Pleasant Meeting House – I was so honored and ecstatic to capture this intimate, winter wedding! The venue is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its architecture and was built in 1838 – isn’t that amazing?! What an incredible experience to have your wedding at such a historical place! It’s been a while since I’ve photographed a more intimate wedding and this event was so adorable and charming. Katie and Ian’s wedding reminded me of my own intimate wedding and resonated with me in a special way.

Lavender details were intertwined in with the eclectic, vintage decor and helped illustrate a beautiful story. Katie was a stunning vision in her elegant, lace dress with the sparkling jewelry and accessories adding a touch of glam! Some of my absolute favorite details from the day were their two dogs – Miles and Josie! Both pups sported fun bow and flower accessories and looked striking in their poses. It’s such an amazing thing to be able to include your furry companions as a part of the most important day of your lives!
Katie and Ian exchanged vows at the property’s church in front of a soft tulle backdrop – officiated by the groom’s brother. The festivities continued at Brandywine Prime – a Chadds Ford restaurant with the most delicious dishes. It was a more ambient atmosphere – perfect for a close family gathering celebrating two young people in love!
Katie and Ian, thank you choosing me as the photographer for your magical winter day! I am sending the most wonderful wishes for you and your furry kiddo pets!!
